Dr. Pratap Kamath is a respected leader in India’s diamond and jewellery industry. As Managing Director of Abaran Timeless Jewellery, he has championed craftsmanship, trust, and innovation in luxury retail for nearly a century. A Graduate Gemologist from GIA and an MBA in Finance and Marketing, he brings deep technical and strategic expertise to the diamond trade.
He is a founder member and board director of the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), actively shaping policy and industry standards. Through his international role as Honorary Consul of Morocco and affiliations with YPO and EO, he bridges global perspectives with domestic growth. Dr. Kamath is also committed to ethical practices and community impact through initiatives under the Abaran Foundation.
